Maher PDF

Extract pages from a PDF

Extract pages creates a new PDF that contains only the pages you choose. It is the opposite of Remove pages: instead of marking what to throw away, you mark what to keep.

Choose a PDF Accepts: One PDF file. Free, no sign-up.

Your files are processed inside this browser tab and are not uploaded to Maher PDF. Please read the Privacy Policy before working with sensitive documents.

It works well for sending one signed page from a contract, saving a single drawing sheet from a large set, or sharing just the summary pages of a long report.

How to use Extract pages

  1. Tap Choose a PDF and select your document.
  2. Tap the thumbnails of the pages you want to keep, or type them, for example 2,5-7.
  3. Tap Run. The new PDF downloads with _extracted added to the name.

Key features

  • Visual page picker with highlighted selection.
  • Typed ranges for documents with hundreds of pages.
  • Extracted pages are exact copies of the originals.

Supported files

Input: one PDF. Output: one new PDF with the selected pages in their original order. To change the order afterwards, use Organize PDF.

Privacy and security

Selection and extraction run entirely in your browser tab; the file is not uploaded.

Common problems

The new file still seems large.
If the pages you kept contain large images, the file stays large. Use Compress PDF afterwards if size matters.

Tips

  • To produce several separate extracts in one go, use Split PDF with semicolon-separated ranges.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between Extract pages and Split PDF?

Extract pages gives you one new PDF with the pages you selected. Split PDF can create many PDFs at once and delivers them in a ZIP.

Do extracted pages keep their links and text?

The page content is copied as is, so text remains selectable. Some document-level features, such as bookmarks pointing to removed pages, may not carry over.
