Convert PDF tables to Excel

PDF to Excel pulls tables and text out of a PDF and puts them into an .xlsx spreadsheet so you can sort, filter, and calculate with the data. Typical uses are bank statements, price lists, quantity schedules, and test reports.

Your files are processed inside this browser tab and are not uploaded to Maher PDF. The OCR feature downloads a text-recognition engine the first time it is used; your file stays on your device. Please read the Privacy Policy before working with sensitive documents.

Each PDF page becomes its own worksheet named Page 1, Page 2, and so on. Where the converter finds a clear table grid, it places text into the matching cells, merges cells that span several columns or rows, and adds borders. Text outside tables is placed row by row, and scanned pages are read with OCR (English), which downloads its engine the first time it's used.

Tips

Frequently asked questions

Will every table convert perfectly?

Clear, ruled tables convert well. Tables with irregular layouts or merged headings may need tidying.

Does it work with scanned statements?

Yes, through OCR, but accuracy depends on the scan. Always check totals against the original.
