These terms apply when you use maherpdf.com and its PDF tools. By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
The service
Maher PDF provides free, browser-based tools for working with PDF and other document files, along with guides and other information. No account is required. We may add, change, or remove tools and content at any time, and the service may be unavailable from time to time.
How the tools work
The tools run in your browser and process files on your device, as described in the Privacy Policy. Results depend on your files, your device, and your browser. Some tools intentionally simplify documents; each tool page describes what to expect.
Your files and your responsibility
- You are responsible for the files you process and for keeping backups of your originals. Always check results before relying on them or sending them to others.
- You must only process files that you own or have the right to use. Don't use the tools to remove protection from documents you are not authorised to access.
- You are responsible for keeping passwords you set with Protect PDF. They cannot be recovered.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the site for anything unlawful, including infringing others' intellectual property or privacy, creating forged or fraudulent documents, or distributing malware. You agree not to interfere with the site's operation, overload it with automated requests, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to it.
Intellectual property
The website's design, text, and original code are owned by Maher PDF. The tools are built with open-source libraries that remain under their own licences. You keep all rights to the documents you process; we claim no rights in them.
Advertising and links
The site shows advertising served by Google AdSense and may link to other websites. We are not responsible for the content, products, or practices of advertisers or linked sites.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of conversions or OCR, and uninterrupted availability.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Maher PDF is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, files, profits, or business, arising from your use of or inability to use the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
