Crop PDF pages

Crop PDF trims the visible area of pages. Drag the corners of the selection box over the first page to choose what stays, then apply the crop to all pages or only the first one. It's useful for cutting wide white margins, scanner borders, or printer marks.

Your files are processed inside this browser tab and are not uploaded to Maher PDF. Please read the Privacy Policy before working with sensitive documents.

Cropping in PDF hides the area outside the box; it does not delete it. The content is still inside the file and could be revealed with editing software. If you need to permanently remove sensitive information, cropping is not the right tool.

Key features

  • Visual drag-and-resize crop box.
  • Asymmetric crops: trim each side differently.
  • Reset button to start over.

Supported files

Input: one PDF. Output: the PDF with a new visible area set on the chosen pages.

Privacy and security

Cropping happens on your device. Remember that hidden areas remain inside the file.

Common problems

Pages have different sizes.
The crop box is positioned as a proportion of page 1 and applied proportionally to other pages. Check mixed-size documents carefully.

Tips

  • Rotate pages first if needed, so the crop box lines up with how the page should read.

Frequently asked questions

Does cropping reduce file size?

Usually not, because the hidden content remains in the file.
